Madhubani DPO Rajesh Kumar Mishra is missing from Muzaffarpur’s Ahiyapur. Police investigation revealed that he was blackmailed by a sextortion gang. He is originally a resident of Laheria Sarai of Darbhanga, who currently lived in Ahiyapur as a house. The wife says that he was under a lot of stress for the past several days. Later he came to know that he was being subjected to sextortion. Someone was blackmailing her by threatening to make the nude video viral. The blackmailers had taken Rs 11,000 and Rs 21,000 from him twice. Now again a demand of Rs 50,000 was being made. For this, they were also being threatened by calling. The callers were introducing themselves as officers. Relatives say that those people were also threatening to pick them up.
Wife had filed a kidnapping case
Wife Archana Kumari had registered a case of kidnapping of her husband at Ahiyarpur police station on 5 February. As soon as the case was registered, the police swung into action and first started investigating on the basis of their mobile calls. The wife told that Rajesh Kumar reached home from Madhubani in the late evening of Saturday. On Sunday afternoon, after having dinner, left the house on foot. The people of the house thought that they were going for a walk. Since then he is missing. It has come to know from the tower location that the DPO’s official number 85 44411570 got switched off when he left the house. The second mobile stopped near a shop named Vikas Traders in Bibiganj. After getting the final location Bibiganj, the police team searched CCTV cameras at many places here. In one footage, a person of DPO’s stature is seen. But no information has been found about where he went from here. At the same time, the CCTV of leaving the house has also come to the fore, in which he is seen coming out of the door and gate of the house.

Regarding the incident, city DSP Nagar Raghav Dayal says that after the disappearance of DPO Rajesh Kumar Mishra, an FIR has been registered on the application of his wife Archana Kumari. In the interrogation of the employees who came from Madhubani, it has come to light that the DPO was blackmailed into sexual torture. The police is probing each and every point and looking for them.
